Why The Mind Wires The Brain For Creativity Or Conformity
Our reality is a framework where the brain houses the mind, and the biological body serves as a vehicle for the mind to interact with the physical world. Essentially, the biological body is an avatar used by the cognitive mind to navigate the physical realm. This interaction is possible because both matter and mind are derived from the quantum field. This shared origin is why physicists have observed their inseparability, as evidenced by the observer effect.

To facilitate this interaction, the mind continually adapts the brain by neurologically wiring it for either creativity or conformity. This binary process involves wiring the brain with every thought, word, and action. As the saying goes, "what fires together wires together." A brain wired for creativity, known as a "growth mindset," develops diverse neural pathways across multiple brain areas (neuroplasticity). This allows the mind to process information in various ways. Conversely, a brain wired for conformity develops more localized and uniform neural pathways, optimizing the transmission of specific types of information.

In today's rapidly evolving world, where technology is replacing routine tasks and innovation is paramount, the brain-mind dynamic becomes increasingly significant. Much like a computer comprises hardware and software, the cognitive mind and physical brain are distinct entities. However, in humans, the adaptive biological hardware, the brain, is continually upgraded by the self-installing and advancing operating system, the mind. As we learn and acquire new information, the mind demands increased neural capacity, necessitating the brain's constant rewiring.

As humans learn, we often attribute our intelligence to a special quality. This perception stems from emotion, a mental component that imbues human intelligence with feelings like love, hate, joy, sorrow, empathy, and selfishness, as well as the driving force of purpose. Intelligence, on the other hand, is merely aggregated algorithms based on information. Emotion, however, transcends information. It is the origin of information and the intelligence that subsequently evolved from it.

Within this brain-mind dynamic, the physical brain naturally resists neurological rewiring by the cognitive mind. Emotion, particularly excitement, provides the energy to overcome this resistance. The neurochemicals released during excitement strongly stimulate the mind, enabling it to overcome the brain's resistance. Notably, new experiences are a potent source of excitement and a catalyst for creativity. This creates a self-reinforcing loop: excitement stimulates the mind to seek new experiences, the mind wires the brain for further exploration, and new experiences induce more excitement.
